THE King John School had a fantastic day at the Castle Point & Rochford District Swimming Championships winning the overall girls title for the fourth year in a row.
The Thundersley school also won the Year 8 and senior age groups at the championships held at Clements Hall.
Individual wins from the girls team came from Olivia Prophet (Year 7 backstroke), Erin Lee (Year 7 butterfly), Catilin Watson-Dochen (Year 8 breaststroke), Megan Haste (Year 8 backstroke), Lydia Ketley (Year 8 butterfly), the Year 8 relay team, Kirstie Fehily (senior backstroke), senior girls relay.
Individual wins from the boys team came from Kieran Reeves-Devlin (Year 7 front crawl), Azar Aitmari (Year 8 butterfly) and the Year 8 relay team. Leigh Cann, King John School PE teacher said: “Well done to all of our swimmers.”
