ALLEYN Court School made home advantage count as they hosted and won the annual Hobbs Cross-Country races.
The Thorpe Bay school won the team event in six of the eight races to claim the overall champions mantle.
A total of 280 runners from Alleyn Court, Rayleigh’s Grove Wood, Hockley’s Plumberow, Eastwood’s Heycroft, Thorpe Bay’s Thorpe Hall, Westcliff’s Crowstone and Brentwood’s Ursuline competed.
