THE netball girls of Rayleigh’s FitzWimarc School will be shooting with plenty of fizz after being given new kits.
They were supplied by Roy and Lesley Kettridge and the Hockley Road school’s parent-teacher association (PTA).
Roy Kettridge is a former governor and PTA chairman of the school, where Lesley has worked for more than 20 years.
The current PTA chairman is Kathy Bevan.
Said PE teacher Michelle Knott: “We are sure that these new kits will make a huge difference to our teams.
“They will feel more confident when they compete in the future as they certainly do look the part now!
“We would like to thank our fabulous PTA for their support and also Roy and Lesley Kettridge,” Michelle added. “They thought it would be a nice gesture to give something back to the school.
“Their three children all attended FitzWimarc and were sporty themselves.
“We cannot thank them enough for their support.”
