JUNIOR table tennis sensation Sid Dorn has become Essex Schools champion after a barnstorming display at the county finals.
The Year 8 pupil from Eastwood Academy only dropped one game in his six matches, and that came in the final against the Essex number two.
But Sid overcame the pressure to level the tie and then he relaxed into his game.
The final game saw Sid produced some great rallies before he got to match point with some stunning shots.
He will now travel to the national schools finals in Doncaster in April.
