Six of the best for High School footballers
SOUTHEND High School for Boys (pictured above) have enjoyed the joy of winning six trophies this term.
The Prittlewell Chase school scooped three cup wins at the Borough cup finals at St Thomas More School.
Years eight and nine defeated the hosts 4-3 and 6-2 respectively and the year 11s triumphed 2-0 over Belfairs.
In the South-East Essex Cup finals, which also involve schools from Castle Point, Southend High won three of the five finals.
Year nine did the double, beating King John 4-2, while year seven also defeated the Thundersley outfit 5-0 and year 10 beat Cecil Jones 3-1.
