lA former Swiss air force trainer jet (left) spiralled into the ground sending a cloud of smoke into the sky after flying over the crowd four times. The De Havilland Vampire was halfway through its final display with a Sea Vixen aeroplane when it crashed into a field a mile-and-a-half away from the airport at 6.10pm on Saturday. It was 200 yards away from a row of terraced houses in Shire Lane, Farnborough. Former RAF Air Marshal Sir Ken Hayr, 66, from Warwickshire, and electronics engineer Jonathan Kerr, from Bournemouth, died in the crash
