Wickford’s star man Craig George doubled up at Leigh & Westcliff LTA’s 64th Championships, held at Southend Lawn TC.
He beat Jack Vile in straight sets in the men’s singles and then teamed up with his brother Neil to defeat Dave Goodman and Cliff Warwick in then men’s doubles.
Sue Sergeant also completed a double with a straight sets win over Lisa Gordon in the Veteran Ladies Singles.

Sergeant continued the family theme by winning the ladies doubles with her daughter Amy in three sets over Rebecca Attwood and Lisa Gordon.
Rounding off the family links, mother and daughter duo Sophie and Viv Scanlon beat Emma Mellish and Jo Hancock in two sets and a Championship tie break.
Gordon finished the day empty-handed after losing in a repeat of last year’s ladies singles final in straight sets to Michelle Caldon.
The mixed doubles title found its way to new champions in Jack Vile and Lucia Bigden after an unfortunate end to the day with a retirement in the first set by 2013 Champions Martin Needs and Sue Sergeant.
