SCOTT Malone believes Sanchez Watt is capable of adding fire to Southend United’s strike-force.
The winger will make his Shrimpers debut at Colchester United on Monday night after agreeing a month long loan from Arsenal.
But Malone is already fully aware of Watt’s talents having played alongside him for England under 19s.
“Sanchez is a very good player,” said Malone who is also on loan at Blues from a Premier League club – Wolverhampton Wanderers.
“He has plenty of flair and he can really get at people. I’m looking forward to him playing for us and he will add plenty of fire to our attack.”
Malone is also likely to be working closely with Watts during his stay at Southend as the Arsenal loanee looks certain to figure on the left flank.
“I think that’s where Sanchez will play so it will be interesting and hopefully we can combine well together,” said left-back Malone.
“When we’ve been with England he’s been further forward so we haven’t played like that before but I’m sure it will work well.”
