BLUES centre back Peter Clarke aims to be staging a double celebration this summer.
The 26-year-old defender, who will make his 100th appearance for the club in Friday night's League One play-off semi-final second leg at Doncaster Rovers, will marry his fiancee Lisa in June.
And he hopes to head into the ceremony on the back of securing promotion for the Shrimpers at Wemble in the play-off final on Sunday, May 25.
"It's a big couple of months for me and the ideal scenario would certainly be for us to be winning at Wembley just before the wedding," said Clarke.
"That would be brilliant in actual fact and it's certainly something that I've been dreaming of.
"But for that to happen we have to win at Doncaster on Friday so there is no point in thinking any further than that at the moment."
Tickets for the clash at the Keepmoat Stadium go on general sale for Shrimpers supporters today.
But more than 1,500 fans have already snapped up their seats and Clarke is urging them to get right behind the team.
"They were fantastic for us in the first leg last Friday," said the former Everton man.
"They made so much noise and the atmosphere was amazing. To sell 1,500 already for Friday is some going so hopefully they can really make themselves heard again and act as a 12th man in what is really going to be a huge game."
Clarke added he was proud to be completing his century of games for the club he joined from Blackpool in a £250,000 deal at the start of last season.
But he is again expecting the match to be a tight encounter, similar to the first meeting between the teams last Friday which ended 0-0 at Roots Hall.
"Nobody wants to make a mistake so I'm expecting the same kind of game," said Clarke.
"With them being at home though the pressure will be on them more to attack and hopefully they can leave us some space to exploit."
