Taylor Swift signed her record deal at the Country Music Hall of Fame
Taylor Swift is donating four million dollars to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in the US to make sure education continues.
The US country star's gift is the largest given to the museum by an artist, officials said. It will fund the Taylor Swift Education Centre, an exhibit and classroom space scheduled to open in 2014.
One of 22-year-old Taylor's first public performances was on the museum's plaza. The six-time Grammy-winner also signed her record contract there.
The new education centre is part of the museum's 75 million dollar expansion project, which will include a new concert theatre and more room for exhibits and archives.
