ARCHERY, a court jester and a and guess the weight of the live goose competition were among the attractions on offer at a medieval day in Barling.
Villagers dressed in medieval costumes for the day of fun at All Saint’s Church.
The vicar, the Rev Alun Hurd, entered in the fun, too, putting himself in the stocks to take part in a Pelt the Priest game, in which people threw wet sponges.
All money raised will be shared by All Saints’ Church and St Mary’s Church, Little Wakering.
