Cash boost – 1984 Olympic silver medalist Wendy holds a cheque for £2,000 for the school
A FUNDRAISING drive has raised £2,000 for school sports equipment.
Rayleigh Primary School hosted a variety of fundraising events, including a penalty shootout, to generate the cash.
An awards ceremony, led by Olympic medallist Wendy Sly, was held at the school to congratulate all the children on their fundraising efforts.
The event was held together with Premier Sports, a sports coaching company which helps run extra-curricular teaching.
