THIRTY youngsters have been rehearsing dance routines from the hit musical, Hairspray.
And today the kids aged eight and above will perform them in front of their parents at Shoeburyness High School, in Caulfield Road.
The performance is part of the Extended Schools Funtastic Shoeburyness Holiday Club.
Karen Stock, the extended schools co-ordinator, in charge of the club said: “Throughout the summer holidays we’ve done loads of different things.
“We’ve done a ‘Little Defenders’ workshop where the over eights have done karate, gymnastics and tri-golf, which has introduced them to golf.”
The club has welcomed more than 200 children over the last four to five weeks. Tomorrow, they start two days of cheerleading lessons.
