THE Met Office has issued snow warnings across part of England as temperatures drop.
Many places in the UK are set to see snow today, with some weather warnings in place. Here is what forecasters say about Southend and Basildon.
It is predicted that across the East of England this weekend it will be “often cloudy with showers or spells of rain or sleet”.
The temperature is expected to be between 4’c and 7’c across Southend and Basildon this weekend.
The Met Office states: “Often cloudy with showers or longer spells of rain, perhaps occasionally turning to sleet or wet snow.
“Later drier conditions will arrive with bright or sunny spells developing.
“Strong coastal winds for much of today, easing later.”
