A man has been charged with weapons and drug offences following an arrest in Brentwood town centre.
Police officers were called to an incident at about 9:45am on May 10 where a man reportedly stood on the roof of a shop in the High Street.
Essex Police confirmed the man was arrested and taken into custody.
Now, 21-year-old Josh Briscoe, of no fixed abode, has been charged with possession of a bladed article, a Class A drug and a Class B drug.
He has been released on bail and will appear at Basildon Magistrates Court on June 27.
