SOUTHEND Saxons continued their push for the Regional Two Anglia title with a 69-15 win against Saffron Walden at Warners Bridge on Saturday.
The victory kept Southend nine points clear of second placed Woodford.
However, there were defeats for Rochford Hundred and Westcliff in Regional One South East.
Bottom of the table Westcliff lost 36-14 at Bedford Athletic while Rochford Hundred - who are second from bottom - were beaten 30-7 at Hertford.
In Counties Two Essex (South), third placed Billericay beat Canvey Island 27-8.
