THERE are severe delays on the A127 both ways as several south Essex roads come to a halt.
According to AA Traffic News, there are severe delays on the A127 Londonbound and Southend bound.
Average speed is around ten mph.
At this stage, it is unclear why there are such severe delays on both sides as there is yet to be a report of a crash.
There are also delays on the A13 through Tarpots and towards Sadlers Farm, which may be impacting the A127.
This is due to a lane closure Westbound, which is in relation to 14 weeks of roadworks.
The works only began yesterday, but are set to last until July, as Essex and Suffolk Water replace a section of mains pipe.
Several other roads in south Essex are also having issues with delays too.
Road surrounding the A127 and A13 in Rayleigh and Thundersley are also very slow.
