DRIVERS are facing long delays in south Essex this afternoon after a traffic light failure at a major roundabout.
Traffic is queueing both ways on the M25 approaching junction 28 with drivers reporting "gridlock" in the area after the issue on Brook Street Roundabout, near Brentwood.
AA is reporting congestion to a couple of miles each side with "severe delays" increasing.

Traffic is also slow on the A12 London-bound approaching junction 11 for the M25 due to the signal failure.
These delays are between junction 28 and junction 29 for the A127.
An average speed 15 miles per hour is being reported.
