A MAN has been charged with indecent exposure after police were called to Southend city centre.
Officers received reports of a man on CCTV performing a sexual act in public in the High Street at about 6.10pm on Monday.

Essex Police says officers arrived at the scene just three minutes after the call, where a suspect was identified, located and arrested in just over 45 minutes.
Now, 44-year-old Jeyachandrasa Gunasekaram has been charged with indecent exposure and assault by beating.
He will appear at Southend Magistrates’ Court today (May 1).
