NO trains are running on the c2c network today as train drivers strike following a long-running pay dispute.
The Aslef union is embroiled in a near two-year long dispute, with another set of strikes getting underway yesterday.
Drivers at 16 train companies, including c2c and Greater Anglia, will strike for 24 hours on three consecutive dates between today and Thursday,
There is also an overtime ban on all train companies until Saturday.
As a result, there are no trains at all on the c2c line today as commuters are set to face major disruption.
There is also a reduced service from Wednesday to Saturday.
Rob Mullen, c2c managing director, said: “I am really disappointed that an agreement with ASLEF hasn’t been reached. The impact of this ongoing action is significant for our customers and colleagues.
“I am hopeful that further meetings with the unions are productive and see progress made toward concluding this challenging time for the railway."
