PETER Harwood has driven in as the new captain of Castle Point Golf Club.
Harwood has been a member for close to 15 years and went back in time to celebrate his new role after deciding to dress up in a scouts uniform.
“It’s tradition to dress up so I went back in time as I used to be a scout,” laughed Harwood.
“I was asked to be captain and in a mad moment said yes but it’s a really nice club and one I’m proud to be associated with.”
Harwood has also selected the Indee Rose Trust - which supports unwell children - as his chosen charity for the year.
Harwood was joined on the first tee by Jimmy Druce, new ladies captain Kay North, Graeme Neil and senior captain Bob Bendall.
