RYAN Peniston has been handed a wildcard for the cinch Championships which get underway at the Queen’s Club on Monday.
Peniston, who is from Great Wakering, beat top seed Casper Ruud on his way to the quarter-finals of the competition last summer.
And the 27-year-old has now been handed another opportunity to impress.
Fellow Brits Liam Broady and Jan Choinski have also been handed wildcards into the star-studded field which includes Carlos Alcaraz, Holger Rune, Taylor Fritz, Frances Tiafoe and Andy Murray.
