CHARLES REGINALD SMITH

Always my favourite uncle. He was brave, thoughtful, kind and friendly. He was a jovial character, and liked to see the positive in everyone and every situation. Everyone that met him liked him and everyone that knew him loved him. He lead a very interesting life. He was always smartly dressed and had a suit for every occasion. I remember him being an incredible swimmer as a young man when I was a young boy. Later in life he proved himself to be a great dog handler, yachtsman and boatsman. I fondly remember the days we spent together sea fishing and nights out lamping with the dogs. Also our weekends away drinking beer and listening to him singing his east end songs. He knew dozens of them. He was a natural comedian and story teller. He always make me laugh. Terry Wheaton nephew.
