Larry James ABREY Passed away peacefully at home on the 1st of February 2020, Aged 79 years. Beloved Husband of childhood sweetheart Aurelia Much loved Dad and Grandad. Will be greatly missed by his family and all those who knew him. Funeral to take place on Tuesday the 18th February 2020, in the West Chapel at Southend Crematorium at 11.20am. Family Flowers only. Donations to Hospice at Home c/o J.W Tate & Son, Westcliff.

I worked with him as did my dad. (shoebury depot)
I live in Bournes Green and often watched him tend the plants on the bench by the roundabout.
I remember the duck pond and the little terraced houses.
Larry was a smashing guy, always smiling and ready for a joke.
He is a loss to the world and humanity.
