(Cranes Farm Road, Basildon) (Temporary Introduction of 30mph Speed Limit) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in that length of Cranes Farm Road, Basildon, in the District of Basildon from the junction with Cranes Lane Roundabout to the junction with Gardiners Lane South, a distance of approximately 950m (current speed limit is 50mph). The temporary speed reduction is scheduled to commence on 3rd June 2019 for 15 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ0071000811129 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on

www.roadworks.org

. The temporary speed reduction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas mains replacement works are undertaken by Cadent.

The Order came into effect on 23rd May 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Rawreth Lane, Rawreth) (Temporary Introduction of 30mph Speed Limit) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a 30mph Speed Limit on that length of Rawreth Lane, Rawreth in the District of Rochford, from a point approximately 500m east of its junction with Chelmsford Road for a distance of approximately 805m in an easterly direction (current speed limit is 50 mph). The speed limit reduction is scheduled to commence on 15th July 2019 for 78 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231003350 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on

. The speed limit reduction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gully connection works are undertaken by Essex County Council. The Order will come into effect on 6th June 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
