(Coggeshall Road, Earls Colne) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Coggeshall Road, Earls Colne in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 410m north of its junction with Curds Road for a distance of approximately 110m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 21st July 2019 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03010529731 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on
. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Anglian Water. An alternative route is available via Parley Beams, Coggeshall Road, Braintree Bypass - A131, Stonebridge Hill, Church Hill, Halstead Road, Colchester Road, Trinity Street, A120 From J A131/b1256 To J B1024 North Of Coggeshall, Bridge Street, High Street, Mount Hill, Bournebridge Hill, Coggeshall Bypass, Broad Road Roundabout, Head Street, Pennypot Corner, Braintree Road, Stock Street, High Garrett and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 5th July 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
