(Burstead Drive, Great Burstead and South Green) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Burstead Drive, Great Burstead and South Green in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Southend Road for a distance of approximately 15m in a southwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th August 2019 for 19 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ0071000845333 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on

www.roadworks.org

. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains replacement works are undertaken by Cadent. An alternative route is available via Southend Road, Tyrrells Road, The Redinge and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 1st August 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Furtherwick Road, Canvey Island) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) & (Foksville Road, Canvey Island)

(Temporary Introduction of no Left Turn) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Furtherwick Road, Canvey Island in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with Foksville Road to its junction with the roundabout at Long Road, a distance of approximately 75m.



2. To temporarily introduce a no left turn from Foksville Road into Furtherwick Road for the duration of the above closure only.



The restrictions are scheduled to commence on 29th August 2019 for 6 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2278433 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on

. The restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while kerb realignment works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Long Road, Maple Way, Link Road, Somnes Avenue, Central Wall Road, Kinghtswick Road and vice versa or Foksville Road, High Street, Furtherwick Road and vice Versa. HGV Diversion route is via Furtherwick Road, Eastern Esplanade, Seaview Road, High Street, Elder Tree Road, Knightswick Road, Furtherwick Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 15th August 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. (Southend Road, Mount Road & Wick Lane, Wickford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Southend Road, Wickford in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Wick Lane for a distance of approximately 115m in a westerly direction.



2. To temporarily close that length of Mount Road, Wickford in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Southend Road to its junction with Ivygate Close, a distance of approximately 100m.



3. To temporarily close that length of Wick Lane, Wickford in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Southend Road to its junction with St Davids Way,



a distance of approximately 200m. The closures are scheduled to commence on 19th August

2019 for 19 days (Southend Road, only closed 25th August 2019 and 1st September 2019 Sundays only), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2275713 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on

. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while works constructing new puffin crossing are undertaken by Essex County Council. Alternative routes are available via

1. Southend Road, Golden Jubilee Way, London Road Roundabout, Golden Jubilee Way, Runwell Road, Rettendon Turnpike, Battlesbridge bypass A1245, Chelmsford Road, Carpenters Arms Roundabout, London Road (A129), Southend Road and vice versa.



2. Mount Road, Cartlodge Avenue, Seven Acres, Springfield Road, Highcliffe Road, Southend Road and vice versa.



3. Wick Lane, Russell Gardens, Robert Way, Hodgson Way, Southend Road and vice versa.



The Order came into effect on 1st August 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Bread and Cheese Hill, Benfleet) (Temporary Introduction of No Right Hand Turn) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a no right turn from Bread and Cheese Hill, Benfleet in the Borough of Castle Point into Catherine Road. The restriction is scheduled to commence on 23rd August 2019 for 18 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ0071000806402 -Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on

. The restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas replacement works are undertaken by Cadent.

The Order will come into effect on 15th August 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Apton Hall Road, Stambridge) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) & (Canewdon Road, Ashingdon)

(Larkhill Road, Canewdon) (Temporary suspension of Weight Restriction) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Apton Hall Road, Stambridge in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Ashingdon Road to its junction with Scotts Hall Road, a distance of approximately 2790m.



2. To temporarily suspend the weight restrictions



on Canewdon Road, Ashingdon and Lark Hill Road, Canewdon as detailed in 'Essex County Council (Various Roads, Ashingdon and Canewdon) (Weight Restriction) Order 1991' for the duration of the above closure only. All other restrictions contained in that Order shall remain in force. The closure/suspensions are scheduled to commence on 19th August 2019 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2276405 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on

. The closure/suspensions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Scotts Hall Road, Lark Hill Road, Canewdon Road, Ashingdon Road, Moons Close and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 15th August 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
