Footpath 8 Ardleigh In the District of Tendring

Essex County Council confirmed the above order on 10 July 2019. The effect of the Order as confirmed will be to temporarily divert until 30 June 2033 a section of Footpath 8 commencing at a point where the footpath crosses Footpath 39 Ardleigh running in a generally southerly direction through the quarry site for a distance of 246 metres to a point where it connects to Slough Lane, to an alternative route being 2 metres in width commencing from the aforementioned end point running in a generally north easterly direction between the hedgerow fronting Slough Lane and the quarry site boundary fence for a distance of 269 metres to where it connects to Footpath 39 Ardleigh. A copy of the Order and the Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at Tendring District Council Offices, Thorpe Road, Weeley, CO16 9AJ and at Chelmsford Public Library, Market Road CM1 1QH during normal working hours. Copies are available on request from the Chelmsford Library at a charge. The alternative route came into force and the old route was stopped up upon confirmation, but if a person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from 8 August 2019 make an application to the High Court. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Little Foxburrows, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Abbey Field View for a distance of approximately 20m in a northerly direction. (Oxford Road, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Oxford Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Inglis Road for a distance of approximately 50m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 26th August 2019 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD037SM56126414 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on

. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while sewer repair works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

(Dead Lane, Ardleigh), (Fen Lane, Ardleigh) & (Harts Lane, Ardleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation

Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Dead Lane, Ardleigh in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 145m southwest of its junction with Dedham Road for a distance of approximately 750m in a southerly direction.

2. To temporarily close that length of Fen Lane, Ardleigh in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Dedham Road to its junction with Dead Lane, a distance of approximately 385m.



3. To temporarily close that length of Harts Lane, Ardleigh in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Dead Lane for a distance of approximately 1090m in a westerly direction.



The closures are scheduled to commence on 13th August 2019 for 15 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC006MU1WSEP00IBUHGDKD08 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on

. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while spine cabling works are undertaken by BT. An alternative route is available via Dedham Road, The Street, Colchester Road, Wick Lane and vice versa or Harts Lane, Old Ipswich Road, Wick Lane, Colchester Road, The Street, Dedham Road, Dead Lane and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 1st August 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Capon Road, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Capon Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 60m south of its junction with Elmstead Road for a distance of approximately 20m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 22nd August 2019 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (AD037SM56419478 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/ or displayed on

An alternative route is available via Boundary Road, A133, Greenstead Roundabout, Elmstead Road, Clingoe Roundabout and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 15th August 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Honeysuckle Way, Colchester & Acacia Avenue, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Honeysuckle Way, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Acacia Avenue for a distance of approximately 15m in an easterly direction.



2. To temporarily close that length of Acacia Avenue, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 55m north of its junction with Magnolia Drive for a distance of approximately 25m



in a northerly direction. The closures are scheduled to commence on 15th August 2019 for 10 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC006MU1WBAUSEIBWMV4FY12 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Cooks Hill, Boxted in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Dedham Road to its junction with Parsonage Hill, a distance of approximately 750m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th August 2019 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2279538A -Essex County Council). The Order will come into effect on 15th August 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
