(Gainsford End, Toppesfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Gainsford End, Toppesfield in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 1365m from its junction with Gainsford End Road for a distance of approximately 460m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 13th August 2019 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034819313 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on

. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cable works are undertaken by UK Power Networks. An alternative route is available via Toppesfield Road, Wethersfield Road, Sculpins Lane, Finchingfield Road, Meadside, Silver Street, High Street, Hudsons Hill, Hedingham Road, Morris Green Road, Bar Hall Road, Carters Hill and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 1st August 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Hollies Road, Bradwell) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hollies Road, Bradwell in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 10m south of its junction with Coggeshall Road for a distance of approximately 100m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th August 2019 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034815827 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on

. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cable works are undertaken by UK Power Networks. An alternative route is available via Hollies Road, Lanham Green Road, Withies Green, Lanham Green, Lanham Green Road, Ashes Road, Long Green, A120, Hollies Road and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 1st August 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Guithavon Valley, Witham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) & (Bridge Street, Witham) (Temporary Suspension of Weight Limit) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Guithavon Valley, Witham in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Armond Road to its junction with Guithavon Street, a distance of approximately 360m.



2. To temporarily introduce a 'no waiting' restriction on both sides of the carriageway in that length of Guithavon Valley, Witham in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Armond Road to its junction with Guithavon Street, a distance of approximately 360m. "The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Permitted Parking and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on that length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that order shall remain in force.



3. To temporarily suspend the 7.5 tonne weight restriction in Newlands Street, Witham in the District of Braintree from its junction with Mill Lane to its junction with Maldon Road as detailed in "The Essex County Council (Bridge Street & Newlands Street, Witham) (7.5 Tonne Weight Restriction) Order 2009" for the duration of the above closure all other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.



The restrictions are scheduled to commence on 2nd September 2019 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2281225 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on

. The restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while gulley replacement works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Collingwood Road, Newland Street, Guithavon Street and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 15th August 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Spinks Lane, Witham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Prohibition of Entry) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Spinks Lane, Witham in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Bridge Street to its junction with Epping Way, a distance of approximately 200m.



2. To temporarily introduce a Prohibition of Entry into Spinks Lane from its junction with Bridge Street, Witham in the District of Braintree for the duration of the closure. The restrictions are scheduled to commence on 12th August 2019 for 19 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ0081000854266 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on

. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains connection works are undertaken by Cadent.



An alternative route is available via Spinks Lane, Highfields Road, Spa Road, Powers Hall End, Chipping Hill, Braintree Road, Collingwood Road, Avenue Road, The Avenue, Newland Street, Colchester Road, A12, Roman Road, Hatfield Road, Bridge Street and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 1st August 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Vicarage Avenue, White Notley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Vicarage Avenue, White Notley in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Church Hill to its junction with Station Road, a distance of approximately 445m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th August 2019 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2255963 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on

. org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while footway repair works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Station Road, Church Hill and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 15th August 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Various Roads, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of 30 MPH Speed Limit) & (Temporary Introduction of Clearway) (Streetworks No.6) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close those various lengths of roads in the District of Braintree, as detailed in the Schedule.



2. To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in the various lengths of road as detailed in the Schedule.



3. A temporary 'No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the various lengths of roads as specified in the schedule for the duration of the restrictions in order to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Stopping restriction will be in force.



4. "The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.



The works are scheduled to commence on 15th August 2019, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on

. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

The restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while superfast installation cabling works are undertaken by Gigaclear. The Order will come into effect on 15th August 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
