(Footpath 18, St Osyth and Footpath 29 & 31,
Great Clacton) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close the following Footpaths in the District of Tendring:
Footpath 18, From its junction with Footpath 29, St Osyth Great Clacton, north for a distance of
approximately 47m. Footpath 29, From its junction with Footpath 18, Great Clacton St Osyth, to its junction with Belsize Avenue Footpath 31, From its western junction with Footpath Great Clacton: 29, Great Clacton to its eastern junction
with Footpath 29, Great Clacton.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 11/09/2019 for up to 2 months between the hours 8am and 5pm or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting, and is required for flood defence investigative works. The alternative route will be via the junction of Footpath 29, Great Clacton and Belsize Avenue, northwest and then southwest on path adjacent to Footpath 31 & Footpath 29, Great Clacton and northeast to Footpath 18, St Osyth and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 11/09/2019 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
