(A134 Northern Approach Road, Myland) (Bus Lane) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2) and Part III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the Order: To introduce a small section of bus lane on the northbound carriageway of A134 Northern Approach Road, Myland in the Borough of Colchester from the northbound carriageway stop lines at the signalised junction of A134 Northern Approach Road and A1341 Via Urbis Romanae, for a distance of approximately 23 metres in a southerly direction. The bus lane will be located in the far left hand side of the carriageway (nearside lane), excluding the dedicated left turn lane into A134 Northern Approach Road (westbound).

Buses and pedal cycles will be permitted to use the bus lane. Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 15 November 2019. Further details: A copy of the Order and plans may be examined during normal office hours at County Hall, Chelmsford CM1 1LX.

Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.

(Footpath 47, Great Horkesley) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 47, Great Horkesley in the Borough of Colchester, for the entire extent of Merles Footbridge ECC ref:4053. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16/09/2019 to 23/09/2019 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting, and is required for the replacement of the footbridge.

The alternative route will be via Footpath 13 (Nayland and Wissington), Court Street, Horkesley Road, Footpath 25 (Nayland and Wissington), Footpath 1 (Great Horkesley) Footpath 2 (Great Horkesley), Footpath 47 (Great Horkesley)

The Order will come into effect on 16/09/2019 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Church Road, Walton On The Naze) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Road, Walton On The Naze in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Walton Road for a distance of approximately 70m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 09/09/19 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005MU1WSEP00IBWHFATR09 -BT). Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Robinson Road, Brightlingsea in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 80m southeast of its junction with Wilfred Way for a distance of approximately 180m in a southeasterly direction. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Balkerne Hill Northbound, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from Maldon Roundabout to Middleborough Roundabout, a distance of approximately 545m.



2. To temporarily close that length of Balkerne Hill Southbound, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from Middleborough Roundabout to Maldon Roundabout, a distance of approximately 545m.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Colchester Road, Great Bromley in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 115m west from its junction with Ardleigh Road for a distance of approximately 60m in a southwesterly direction. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Coats Hutton Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Iceni Way to its junction with Kent Avenue, a distance of approximately 230m.
