Highways Act 1980 - Section 119 District of Maldon

Public Path Diversion Orders 2019 Footpaths 7 Little Totham & 25 Great Totham The above Orders confirmed on 4th September, 2019 will divert public Footpath 7 in the Parish of Little Totham and Footpath 25 in the parish Great Totham the District of Maldon. A part length of Footpath 7 Little Totham commencing from grid reference 58832,21113 at the northern boundary of the field and running in a south easterly direction across the field for a distance of 130 metres to grid reference 58840,21103 at the south east corner of the field will be diverted to a new route commencing at the same above point and running in an east south easterly direction for a distance of 66 metres to grid reference 58839,21111 then in a southerly then south south easterly direction on the west side of the brook for a final distance of 85 metres to the same above point where it continues unaffected.

The above Orders confirmed on 4th September, 2019 will divert public Footpath 7 in the Parish of Little Totham and Footpath 25 in the parish Great Totham the District of Maldon. A part length of Footpath 7 Little Totham commencing from grid reference 58832,21113 at the northern boundary of the field and running in a south easterly direction across the field for a distance of 130 metres to grid reference 58840,21103 at the south east corner of the field will be diverted to a new route commencing at the same above point and running in an east south easterly direction for a distance of 66 metres to grid reference 58839,21111 then in a southerly then south south easterly direction on the west side of the brook for a final distance of 85 metres to the same above point where it continues unaffected.

Apart length of Footpath 25 commencing from grid reference 58682,21216 on the existing track north of Angham House running in a south westerly direction along the track for a distance of 220 metres to grid reference 58669,21198 at the edge of the wood will be diverted to a new route commencing at the same above point and running in an arc in a westerly then south westerly then southerly direction for a distance of 124 metres to grid reference 58676,21208 then continuing in a south westerly direction along the field boundary for a final distance of 118 metres to the same above point where it continues unaffected.

A copy of these Orders and Order Maps have been placed in and may be seen free of charge at Maldon District Council Offices, Princes Road, CM9 5DL and at the County Hall, Chelmsford during normal working hours. Copies of the Orders and Order maps are available on request from County Hall at a charge.

The Order will come into effect on 2nd October, 2019 but if a person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from the date of this notice, make an application to the High Court. Notice is hereby given that an Inspector will be appointed by the Secretary of State for the Department of the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs to determine Essex County Council Public Path Diversion Order 2019 Footpaths 2, 4 and 5 Tolleshunt D'arcy in District of Maldon &

Footpath 7 Little Totham in District of Maldon And will attend at: The Village Hall, Tollesbury Road, Tolleshunt D'arcy CM9 8UB On Wednesday 18th September 2019 at 10.00am

To hold a public local inquiry into the Orders The effect of the Orders, if confirmed without modifications, will be to divert a part length of the public Footpaths 2, 4 and 5 Tolleshunt D'arcy and 7 Little Totham in the District of Maldon

A part length of Footpath 2 Tolleshunt D'arcy commencing from grid reference 59127,21244 and running in an east south easterly direction across the field and crossing the Limes Brook for a distance of 625 metres to where it connects to Footpath 4 Tolleshunt D'arcy will be diverted to a new route commencing at the same above point and running in a south easterly direction along the southern boundary of the field and then in a generally southerly direction parallel with and along the west side of the stream known as Limes Brook for a distance of 791 metres to grid reference 59158,21183 where it connects to Footpath 3 Tolleshunt D'arcy.

A part length of Footpath 4 Tolleshunt D'arcy commencing from grid reference 59161,21182 where it connects to Footpath 3 and running in a north easterly direction through the buildings of Frame Farm then a north north easterly direction and then a northerly direction for a distance of 530 metres to grid reference 59186,21262 where it connects to Footpath 2 Tolleshunt D'arcy. It then continues in a northerly direction then a generally east north easterly direction around Limesbrook Farm before becoming Footpath 5 Tolleshunt D'arcy for a distance of 535 metres to grid reference 59228,21250 where it connects to the highway known as the Kelvedon Road will be diverted to a new route commencing at grid reference 59233,21178 where it connects to Footpath 3 and running

in a north north easterly direction and then a westerly direction for a distance of 390 metres to grid reference 59227,21208 and then in a north north easterly direction for a distance of 380 metres to grid reference 59234,21245 where it connects to the Kelvedon Road.

A part length of Footpath 7 Little Totham at grid reference 58827,21034 and running in an east south easterly direction and then, where the Little Totham Hall tracks intersect, in a generally south south easterly direction along the access track for a total distance of 213 metres to grid reference 58838,21019 where it connects to the highway known as Church Lane will be diverted to a new route commencing at the same above point and running in a generally southerly direction parallel with and alongside the stream, and crossing the parish boundary into the parish of Great Totham for a distance of 360 metres to grid reference 58825,20998 then crossing the stream and running in a generally east north easterly direction parallel with the highway known as Church Lane to the parish boundary with Little Totham where it continues in a generally north north easterly direction parallel with Church Lane for a further distance of approximately 140 metres to grid reference 58835,21005 where it connects to Church Lane, directly opposite where Footpath 10 Little Totham commences. (Bryants Lane, Woodham Mortimer) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bryants Lane, Woodham Mortimer in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 135m north of its junction with Maldon Road for a distance of approximately 95m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 09/10/19 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC006MU1WBAUSEIBY7P0CM04 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on

www.roadworks.org

. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while duct laying works are undertaken by BT.

An alternative route is available via Tom Tit Lane, Maldon Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 26/09/19 and may continue in force for 18 months or

until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Colam Lane, Little Baddow) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Colam Lane, Little Baddow in the City of Chelmsford, approximately 535m south east of Holybread Lane for a distance of approximately 35m south east.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 25/09/19 to 27/09/19 or where stated on a valid permit (EC00312000887). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs/displayed on

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while works to install a

new water connection relating to a section 50 licence is undertaken.

Diversion via: Colam Lane, Holybread Lane, North Hill and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 25/09/19 and may continue in force for 18 months or

until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Steeple Road, Southminster) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Steeple Road, Southminster in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Foxhall Road for a distance of approximately 50m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30/09/19 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN0143335375 - Essex And Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on

www.roadworks.org

. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while meter installation works are undertaken by Essex And Suffolk Water. An alternative route is available via Foxhall Road, Highlands Hill, Mayland Hill, Southminster Road, Scotts Hill and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 26/09/19 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
