Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Poynters Lane, Great Wakering in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Shoebury Road for a distance of approximately 665m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 26/09/19 for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034819204 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on

. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cable works are undertaken by UK Power Networks. An alternative route is available via Poynters Lane, Star Lane, Southend Road, High Street, New Road, Shoebury Road and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 12/09/19 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Wakering Road, Great Wakering) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Wakering Road, Great Wakering in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Poynters Lane for a distance of approximately 75m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 26/09/19 for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034819205 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on

(Main Road, Rettendon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Main Road, Rettendon in the City of Chelmsford, from its junction with Main Road for a distance approximately 34m in a westerly direction (road also known as Hall Cottages). The closure is scheduled to commence on 09/10/19 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005KL1W000000041297CNS - BT). (Swan Mead, Vange) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Swan Mead, Vange in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Clay Hill to its junction with Collingwood Road, a distance of approximately 75m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 23/09/19 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2281754- Essex County Council). Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Baardwyk Avenue, Canvey Island in the District of Castle Point, from its junction with Hassell Road to its junction with Winterswyk Avenue. (Love Lane, Rayleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Love Lane, Rayleigh in the District of Rochford, from a point northwest approximately 75m of its junction with High Street for a distance of approximately 40m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 05/10/19 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ0071000848641 - Cadent). . The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas service works are undertaken by Cadent. An alternative route is available via High Street, Crown Hill and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 26/09/19 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Various Roads, Borough of Basildon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) (No.12) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the Borough of Basildon as specified in the schedule to this Order.



2. A temporary 'No Waiting' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.



"The Essex County Council (Various Roads, Basildon District) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2008" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 12/09/19, exact dates will be specified on

. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
