District of Braintree Public Path Diversion Orders 2019 Highways Act 1980 - Section 119 Notice of Making of an Order Footpath 19 Halstead The above Order made on 6th September, 2019 under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 will divert a part length of public Footpath 19 in the Parish of Halstead as shown on the Order Map contained in this Order.

The above Order made on 6th September, 2019 under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 will divert a part length of public Footpath 19 in the Parish of Halstead as shown on the Order Map contained in this Order.

The effect of the Order will be to divert a part length of Footpath 19 Halstead commencing from grid reference 58226,23122 to the east of Winston Way running in a north easterly direction across the field for a distance of 118 metres to grid reference 58231,23134 then continuing in an east south easterly direction across the field for a further distance of 22 metres to grid reference 58233,23133 then in a north easterly direction across the field for a final distance of 55 metres to reference 58235,23139 to the Parish boundary to a new route commencing at the same above point and running in a north easterly direction on the eastern side of the hedge line for a total distance of 177 metres to the same above point at the parish boundary where it continues unaffected. A copy of the above Order and the Order Map have been placed in and may be seen free of charge at Braintree District Council Offices at Causeway House, Bocking End, Braintree CM7 9HB during normal working hours. Copies of Orders and Order maps are available on request from the County Hall at a charge.

Any representation about or objection to the Order may be sent or delivered in writing addressed to Laurence Page, Definitive Map Service, Essex County Council, A2 Seax House County Hall, Market Road, Chelmsford CM1 1QH, no later than 17th October, 2019 and should state the grounds on which it is made. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Essex County Council may itself confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. (Stambourne Road, Great Yeldham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Stambourne Road, Great Yeldham in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 200m northwest of its junction with Ridgewell Road for a distance of approximately 175m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 23/09/19 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005CN17W000000EA4CUE01 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on

. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cable works are undertaken by BT.

An alternative route is available via Ridgewell Road, Mill Road, Drury Lane, Stambourne Road, Wesley End Road, Church Road, Great Yeldham Road and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 13/09/19 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Brook Farm Road, Stisted) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Brook Farm Road, Stisted in the District of Braintree, from the junction with Stisted Road to the junction with Tumblers Green, a distance of approximately 910m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 09/10/19 for 10 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2282254 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on

. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

(Stisted Road, Greenstead Green) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Stisted Road, Greenstead Green in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 240m south of its junction with Burtons Green Road for a distance of approximately 1100m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 07/10/19 for 5 days, or where stated on avalid permit (EP201EH2281804-Essex County Council). To temporarily close those various lengths of roads in the District of Braintree as detailed in the Schedule.

2. To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in the various lengths of road as detailed in the schedule.



3. A temporary 'No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the various lengths of roads as specified in the schedule for the duration of the restrictions in order to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Stopping restriction will be in force.



4. "The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.



The works are scheduled to commence on 13/09/19, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on

. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road. The restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while superfast installation cabling works are undertaken by Gigaclear.

The Order came into effect on 13/09/19 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
