LOCAL GOVERNMENT (MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS) ACT 1976 TOWN POLICE CLAUSES ACT 1847

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Southend-on-Sea Borough Council, pursuant to Section 63 of the Local Government (Miscellaneous) Provisions Act 1976, is to remove and appoint certain hackney carriage stands on the highway in the Borough, as set out in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE Stands to be Appointed:

1. Warrior Square, Southend-on-Sea on the eastbound carriageway 7.7m west of the junction with Chichester Road for a distance of 19.8m in a westerly direction.The taxi stand to be in operation between the hours of 7pm and 7am Monday to Friday, 1pm to 8am on Saturday and all day Sunday and Bank Holidays.



2. Tylers Avenue, Southend-on-Sea on the westbound carriageway 11.3m west of the junction with Chichester Road for a distance of 19.8m in a westerly direction.The taxi stand to be in operation between the hours of 7pm and 7am Monday to Friday, 1pm to 8am on Saturday and all day Sunday and Bank Holidays.



3. Tylers Avenue, Southend-on-Sea, 31.1m west of the junction with Chichester Road fora distance of 19.8m in a westerly direction.



Stands to be Removed:

1.
