Notice of Confirmation of an Order Highways Act 1980 Essex County Council Public Path Diversion Orders 2019 Footpath 28 Beaumont-Cum-Moze, Footpath 22 Tendring, and Footpath 23 Tendring On 9 September 2019 Essex County Council confirmed the above orders made under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980. The effect of the orders as confirmed as shown on the order maps is to divert:

1. A part length of Footpath 28 Beaumont-Cum-Moze commencing from a point at the north western corner of a field running in a generally southerly direction for a distance of 317 metres across a meadow to the point where it exits the meadow and continues unaffected, to an alternative route 2 meters in width commencing from the aforementioned start point running in first a south westerly then south south westerly direction as a field edge path for a distance of 359 metres to a point at the south west boundary of the meadow then continuing in an east south easterly direction for a final distance of 262 metres along the field edge to the aforementioned end point where it continues unaffected.

2. A further part length of Footpath 28 Beaumont-Cum-Moze commencing from a point on the south side of Quay Lane running in a generally southerly then south easterly direction across a menage along the western side of the sea wall for a total distance of 116 metres to the point where it connects to the sea wall and continues as Footpath 19 Thorpe Le Soken, to an alternative route 2 meters in width commencing from Quay Lane running in an east north easterly direction along Quay Lane for a distance of 10 metres to the point where it leaves Quay Lane continuing in first a south south westerly then a south south easterly direction for a final distance of 114 metres through a small wooded area along the sea wall with a variable width of between
1 and 1.5 metres to the aforementioned end point where it continues as Footpath 19 Thorpe Le Soken

3. A part length of Footpath 22 Tendring commencing at its junction with Footpath 18 Tendring running in a north easterly direction for a total distance of 686 metres across a field to its junction with Footpath 23 Tendring where it continues unaffected, to an alternative route 2 metres in width commencing at an east-west field boundary running in an easterly direction for a distance of 331 metres along the field edge on first the southern side of a field boundary then via a culvert continuing on the northern side of a field boundary to a point where the field-edge path ends. The path then continues in a north north westerly direction for a further distance of 130 metres across the field to the northern field edge then in first an east north easterly then north easterly direction along the field edge for a final distance of 85 metres to where it connects to Footpath 23 Tendring.

4. A part length of Footpath 23 Tendring from a point at the north east corner of a field running in a north westerly direction for a total distance of 103 metres through a private garden to a point where it connects to Lodge Lane, to an alternative route 2 metres in width commencing at the aforementioned start point running in a north westerly direction around a field edge for a total distance of 91 metres to where it connects to Lodge Lane 28 metres east of the original connection point. A copy of the Order and the Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at Tendring District Council Offices, Thorpe Road, Weeley, CO16 9AJ and at Chelmsford Public Library, Market Road CM1 1QH during normal working hours. Copies are available on request from the Chelmsford Library at a charge.
The alternative routes come into force on 7 October 2019, and the old routes shall be stopped up with effect from 14 October 2019, but if a person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from 10 October 2019 make an application to the High Court. Borough of Colchester, from its junction with North Station Road for a distance

(Colchester Road, Great Bromley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Colchester Road, Great Bromley in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 115m west from its junction with Ardleigh Road for a distance of approximately 60m in a southwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 14/10/19 for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD001SEW-11424-04-10 - Anglian Water). Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Chitts Hill, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Cooks lane for a distance of approximately 35m in a northerly direction (10m either side of railway crossing). (Colneside Walk Underpass, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Colneside Walk Underpass, in the Town of Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, for the entire extent of the underpass. The closure is scheduled to commence on 21/10/2019 to 01/11/2019 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while the installation of a lighting system is undertaken. The Order will come into effect on 21/10/2019 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Little Clacton Weeley Bypass and Colchester Road, Weeley) (Temporary Introduction of 30mph Speed Limit) & (Colchester Road, Weeley) (Temporary Introduction of No Right Turn) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in that length of Colchester Road, Weeley in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Colchester Road Roundabout for a distance of approximately 400m in a westerly direction.

2. To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in that length of Colchester Road, Weeley in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Colchester Road Roundabout for a distance of approximately 480m in an easterly direction.

3. To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in that length of Little Clacton Bypass Weeley in the District of Tendring from its junction with Colchester Road Roundabout for a distance of approximately 500m in a southerly direction.

4. To temporarily introduce a no right turn from Colchester Road, Weeley in the District of Tendring into Crown Lane, Tendring.
