PUBLIC NOTICE CASTLE POINT BOROUGH LOCAL PLAN 2018-2033 STATEMENT OF REPRESENTATIONS PROCEDURE Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 The Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012 Castle Point Borough Council ("the Council") formally approved the Castl e Point Borough Local Plan 2018-2033 ("the Local Pl an") for submission to the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government on 22 October 2019. In accordance with Regulation 19 of The Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012, the Local Plan and its supporting documents will be published for public consultation. The Local Plan sets out the vision and framework for guiding development within the whole of the Castle Point Borough up to 2033. Based on technical evidence, the Local Plan assesses what provision of homes, jobs, infrastructure, services and facilities are required over the life of the Plan, and identifies how they should be delivered. The Plan contains policies that the Council will use to determine planning applications. Consultation on the Local Plan and its supporting documents begins on Monday 16th December 2019 and ends at 5pm on Friday 14th February 2020. All representations must be received by the Council no later than 5pm on Friday 14th February 2020. During this time, any person or organisation may make representations.
