Effect of the order
will be to prohibit any vehicle from
1. Stopping, waiting, loading & unloading on Fairmead Avenue from its junction with Westborough Road to Fairfax Drive
2.Proceed on Westborough Road from its junction with Westminster Drive to Hildaville Drive.
3. Exit Fairmead Avenue at its junction with Westborough Road
4. Enter Fairmead Avenue from its junction Westborough Road The Order will also;
5. Allow two way operation on Fairmead Avenue from its junction with London Road & Fairfax Drive when the closures are in place for residents access
The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th February 2020 til 1st May 2020 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting.
The alternative route will be set for each phase.
2. Hildaville Drive, London Road, Southbourne Grove & Westborough Road or Westminster Drive, London Road &
Fleetwood Avenue.
3.Fairmead Avenue, London Road 4.Fleetwood Avenue & Fairfax Drive or Southbourne Grove & Fairfax Drive
The Order will come into effect on 17th February 2020 and may
continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been
completed, whichever is the earlier
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce
whilst gas main replacement works take place
Access for emergency vehicles, residents and pedestrians will be
maintained at all times during the closure.
The prohibitions or restrictions will apply only during such time
and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs prescribed
by the TRAFFIC SIGNS REGULATIONS AND GENERAL

Any veh icle wa it ing in contravent ion of any restrict ion/proh ib ition imposed by this Notice may be issued with a Penalty Charge Notice and removed under the provisions of the Traffic Management Act 2004.
