(Various Roads, Hazeleigh, Purleigh, Cold Norton and Stow Maries) (Restricted Roads & 40mph Speed Limit) Order 20**
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 81, 82(2), 83(2), 84(1) and (2) and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To introduce 40mph speed limit on the following lengths of B1010 Burnham Road/Chelmsford Road) and Lodge Road, in Parish of Hazeleigh/Parish of Purleigh, both in the District of Maldon (the road sections are currently national speed limit):
Road
Description
B1010 Burnham Road/Chelmsford Road  
From a point approximately 18 metres northwest of the western boundary wall of Edgewood Veterinary Practice, located approximately 1380 metres north west of its junction with B1010 Barons Lane, generally north-west for a distance of approximately 1004 metres.
Lodge Road
From its junction with the B1010 Burnham Road, north-east for a distance of approximately 70 metres.
To revoke 'The Essex County Council (Various Roads, Purleigh, Cold Norton and Stow Maries) (Speed Limit) Order 2011' All restrictions shall continue in force by virtue of this order Further details: All associated documents for the proposed scheme are available on the Essex Highways website:

(Footpath 3,4 & 5, Cold Norton and Footpath 11 & 13, Purleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close the following length of Footpath 3, 4 & 5, Cold Norton and Footpath 11 & 13, Purleigh in the District of Maldon:
Road
Description
Footpath 11, Purleigh/Footpath 4 and 5, Cold Norton
From Footpath 11, Purleigh's junction with Flambird's Chase in a southerly direction to Footpath 5, Cold Norton's connection with Footpath 4, Stow Maries. Including the entire length of Footpath 4, Cold Norton.
Footpath 3, Cold Norton/Footpath 13, Purleigh
From Footpath 3, Cold Norton's junction with Flambird's Chase  in an easterly direction to Footpath 13's junction with Hackman's Lane

The alternative route for the above footpath closures will be via Flambird's Chase, Footpath 3, Cold Norton, Bridleway 7, Cold Norton, Footpath 3, Stow Maries, Footpath 4, Stow Maries, The Street, Footpath 7, Stow Maries, Footpath 8, Cold Norton, Footpath 14, Purleigh and vice versa.
The temporary closures are scheduled to commence on 19/08/2020, 05/09/2020 and 06/09/2020,19/09/2020 and 20/09/2020, 03/10/2020 and 04/10/2020 between the hours of 10am and 5pm or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting, and are required for the safety of the public while the Fly-in and Air Display at Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome is underway
The Orders will come into effect on 19/08/2020 and may continue in force 6 months or until the events have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Goats Lodge Road, Great Totham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Goats Lodge Road, Great Totham in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Beacon Hill for a distance of approximately 75m in a southwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th August 2020 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411SAWBJWW59Z002 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while frame and cover renewal works are undertaken by BT.
An alternative route is available via Walden House Road, Great Totham Road, Kelvedon Road, Beacon Hill and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 20th August 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Green Lane, Burnham-on-Crouch) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Green Lane, Burnham-on-Crouch in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Mangapp Chase for a distance of approximately 60m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th August 2020 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN013201008- Essex And Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Essex And Suffolk Water. An alternative route is available via Southminster Road, Church Road, Maldon Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 20th August 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Barnhall Road, Tolleshunt Knights) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Barnhall Road, Tolleshunt Knights in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 520m east of its junction with Park Lane for a distance of approximately 370m in a southeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 26th August 2020 for 1 day or where stated on a valid permit (BC005CC1W00000WAMK904E01 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacementworks are undertaken by BT An alternative route is available via Barnhall Road, Brook Road, D'arcy Road, Factory Hill, Oxley Hill, Kelvedon Road, North Street, Station Road,Whitehouse Hill, Colchester Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 6th August 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
