(Harlow District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment Number 4) Order 2020


Notice is hereby given Colchester Borough Council acting on behalf of the North Essex Parking Partnership in exercise of the delegated powers of the traffic authority Essex County Council granted under an Agreement dated 31 March 2011 proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4 (1), 4(2), 32, 35,45,46,49 and 53 and Parts III and IV of schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order: To introduce ‘Waiting and Loading Restrictions’ on Maddox Road and adjoining roads in the district of Harlow.

This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Harlow District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 by replacing tile numbers (TL450 100, TL450 102 revision 1 replaced with revision 2, Tiles TL450 097, TL455 097, TL460 097 revision 0 replaced with revision 1)


Further Details: A copy of the proposed Order with plans showing the specified lengths of roads, a Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Orders and a copy of the Order to be amended may be inspected on line at https://nepp.essexworkstraffweb.org.uk/consult/main.html (Maddox Road) or at http://www1.parkingpartnership.org/ north/policies-troproposals or by calling 07703 796401 or 07515 999663 to arrange a suitable time to inspect the documents. Documents can be made available for inspection 8.30am-5.30pm Mon-Thurs and 8.30am-5pm on Friday at Essex County Council, County Hall E block main reception, Market Road, Chelmsford if so required following the current social distancing restrictions.

(The Green, Theydon Bois) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020


Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of The Green, Theydon Bois in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 25m southeast of its junction with Avenue Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a southeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 6th September 2020 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (TN002HF-THEYDONBOISTE-01 – Arqiva – Smart Metering). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while installation of telecoms equipment works are undertaken by Arqiva – Smart Metering.

An alternative route is available via Theydon Green, Coppice Row and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 27th August 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.


(High Street, Roydon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.


Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of High Street, Roydon in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Roydon Mill Caravan Park Access Road to its junction with Briggens Park Road a distance of approximately 50m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 23rd August 2020 for 1 night (01:10 - 09:00), or where stated on a valid permit (KL736BGK-20- 10-230820SM – Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while rail inspection and maintenance works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd. An alternative route is available via Harlow Road, Roydon Road, Elizabeth Way, Edinburgh Way, A414, Fifth Avenue, Eastwick Road and vice versa.


The Order came into effect on 13th August 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
