Notice of Confirmation of An Order Highways Act 1980 Public Path Extinguishment Order 2020 Bridleway 233 Basildon
On 23 December 2020 Essex County Council confirmed the above order made under section 118 of the Highways Act 1980.
The effect of the order as confirmed as shown on the order maps is to extinguish part widths of part of the length of Bridleway 233 Basildon of variable width shown by a bold continuous line on the Order Map commencing from a point at grid reference 56595,18737 on the access drive to the Essex Wildlife Trust visitor centre running in an east, north easterly direction for a distance of approximately 10 metres along the access drive to a point at grid reference 56596,18737 where it continues in an east, north easterly direction for a distance of approximately 26 metres along the access drive to a point at grid reference 56599,18738 where it continues unaffected. Copies of the order and order map can be requested to be posted or viewed by emailing publicpathorders@essexhighways.org to arrange a suitable time to inspect the documents quoting the Order title. Documents can be made available for inspection 8.30am-4.30pm Mon-Fri at Essex County Council, County Hall, E block main reception, Market Road, Chelmsford if so required following the current social distancing restrictions. The route shall be stopped up with effect from 6 January 2021 ,but if a person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from 21 January 2021 make an application to the High Court.

(Barling Road, Barling Magna) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Barling Road, Barling Magna in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Haul Road for a distance of approximately 270m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th February 2021 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30051307544 -JK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works is undertaken by JK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Little Wakering Road, Southend Road, Silchester Corner, Silchester Corner Roundabout, Barling Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 28th January 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Clarence Road North, Benfleet) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Clarence Road North, Benfleet in the Borough of Castle Point, from a point approximately 45m north west of its junction with Kale Road for a distance of approximately 45m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th February 2021 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ7031000997116 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas main connection works are undertaken by Cadent.
An alternative route is available via Thundersley Park Road, Clarence Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 28th January 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Laindon Common Road, Little Burstead) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Laindon Common Road, Little Burstead in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 125m northeast of its junction with Clock House Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a northeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 10th February 2021 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411SAWBKFJN2R001 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary tor these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by BT.
An alternative route is available via Noak Hill Road, Wash Road West, Dunton Road, Rectory Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 28th January 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Newlands Road & Jacqueline Gardens, Billericay) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Newlands Road, Billericay in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Jacqueline Gardens for a distance of approximately 50m in an easterly direction.

2. To temporarily close that length of Jacqueline Gardens, Billericay in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Newlands Road for a distance of approximately 40m in a northerly direction.

The closures are scheduled to commence on 9th February 2021 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30035163602 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary tor these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks. An alternative route is available via Newlands Road, Perry Street, Springfield Road, Bush Hall Road, Stock Road, Dukes Farm Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 28th January 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Sutton Road, Sutton) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close that length of Sutton Road, Sutton in the District of Rochford, from a point approximately 25m south of its junction with Shopland Road for a distance of approximately 155m in a southerly then southeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 7th March 2021 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30056778215 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement and overhead line works are undertaken by UK Power Networks. An alternative route is available via Southend Road, Southend Road Roundabout, Sutton Road, Rochford Road, Harp House Roundabout, Manners Way, Manners Way Service Road East, Cuckoo Corner Roundabout, Priory Crescent, Eastern Avenue, Eastern Avenue And Sutton Road Roundabout and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 28th January 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Barling Road, Barling Magna/ Great Wakering) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021

Notice Is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close that length of Barling Road, Barling Magna/ Great Wakering in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Shopland Road for a distance of approximately 145m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 25th January 2021 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30078427129 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead lines and pole replacement works are undertaken by UK Power Networks. An alternative route is available via Silchester Corner, Southend Road, Little Wakering Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 14th January 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Various Roads, Borough of Basildon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) (No.1) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order
1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the Borough of Basildon as specified in the schedule to this Order.

2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping" restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping restriction will be in force.

"The Essex County Council (Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 14th January 2021, exact dates will be specified on One.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
