1. I John Murray hereby give notice that an application was made to Southend on Sea Council on the 19 day of May 2014 for a Variation of a licence to operate aperate a premises at Olde Trout Tavern, 56, London Road, Westcliff on Sea, Essex. SS1 1NX. from which the following licensable activities are proposed: to vary the layout of the premises in accordance with submitted plan (drawing no. 2306/8/32) in order to add external seating to an outside area immediately abutting the Premises on London Road and Gordon Road and which falls within the boundaries of the Premises. Save for varying the conditions on the Premises Licence to ensure that the variation deals with the impact of the Premises having an external seating area all other operating times, licensable activities and conditions of the Premises Licence are to remain unaltered between the hours of 11am to 9pm Monday to Saturday and from 12pm to 9pm on a Sunday
2. The full application, giving details about the premise and proposed licensable activities, has been sent to the Licensing Section, Southend on Sea Borough Council. This may be inspected free of charge, between 8.30am and 4.45pm at the offices of the council at: The Licensing Authority, Southend on Sea Borough Council, Civic Centre, Floor 12, Victoria Avenue, Southend on Sea, Essex. SS2 6ZG.
3. An interested party or responsible Authority may make representations to the Licensing section within 28 consecutive days of the day the application was made as detailed above. It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application and a person may be liable on summary conviction to fine of up to Level 5 on the Standard Scale (currently £5,000.)
