Footpath 124 Witham (Braintree District) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given
that Essex County Council on 24 August 2021 confirmed the above mentioned Order and it look effect on that day.
The effect of the Order is to modify the Definitive Map for the County of Essex by:-
Adding a length of public footpath from the south east comer of the Town Park, in a south westerly direction for a distance of approximately 20 metres then turning generally south for a distance of approximately 320 metres, crossing the River Brain at Saul's Bridge to join Footpath 90. The width of the way is two metres. A copy of the Order and Order map may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at the Chelmsford Library, Market Road, Chelmsford, where copies will be available on request at a charge. Copies of the order and order map can be also be viewed on Essex Highways website at: www.essexhighways.org/transport-and-roads/getting-around/public-rights-of-way/public-path-notices.aspx and have also been sent to Braintree District Council where they may be viewed by prior arrangement. If any person is aggrieved by this Order and desires to question its validity on the ground that it is not within the powers of section 53 or that any of the requirements of Schedule 15 have not been complied with in relation to it, he may within 42 days from the date of publication of this Notice make an application to the High Court under paragraph 12(1) of Schedule 15 to the Act.

(Various Roads (Notley Grange Development), Black NotJey) (20mph Zone) Order 20**

that Essex County Council has made the above Order under Sections 84(1) (a) and (2) and Part III ot Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order: To introduce a 20mph zone on the following lengths of mads (NotJey Grange Development), Black Notley in the District of Braintree:
Road Description
Crab Apple Drive, Black Notley
From a point 10 metres south east of its junction with London Road, for its entire remaining length including the turning heads.
Maple Close, Black Notley
For its entire length.
Hawthorn Way, Black Notley
For its entire length.
Jasmine Drive, Black Notley
For its entire length.
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 24 September 2021.

Application to the high court Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.

(Church Road, Terling) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Road, Terling in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 445m north east of its junction with Flacks Green for a distance of approximately 20m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 13th October 2021 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03059034037/1 -Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while meter exchange works are undertaken by Anglian Water. (Cressing Road, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021

that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Cressing Road, Braintree in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 15m south east of its junction with Coggeshall Road for a distance of approximately 50m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 23rd October 2021 for 9 days, or where stated on a valid permit (KA180S000000000440 - Gigaclear Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while duct laying works are undertaken by Gigaclear Limited.

(Cross Farm Road, Finchingf ield) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021

that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close that length of Cross Farm Road, Finchingfield in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 140m east of its junction with Pump Lane for a distance of approximately 130m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 21st October 2021 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD01458293156/1 -Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. (Pods Lane, Rayne) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Pods Lane, Rayne in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Dunmow Road for a distance of approximately 80m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 18th October 2021 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411SAWC3R9H2D001 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Sheepcotes Lane, Bradwell/Silver End in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 425m south of its junction with Hollies Road for a distance of approximately 1320m in a south westerly then southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 18th October 2021 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008PTMS274829A&B-Openreach). that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Tinkers Green Road, Finchingfield in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 145m north east of its junction with Spains End Road for a distance of approximately 145m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 21 st October 2021 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD01458275311 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while sensor installation works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

(Various Roads, District of Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a 30mph Speed limit and Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) (No.8) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the District of Braintree as specified in the schedule.
2. To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in the various lengths of road as detailed in the Schedule.
3. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stepping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of road for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping restriction will be in force.
"The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 30th September 2021, exact dates will be specified on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Howbridge Road, Witham in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Bridge Street to its junction with Maidment Crescent a distance of approximately 105m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 5th October 2021 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2310476 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
