(Star Lane, Great Wakering) (District of Rochford) (Prohibition of Waiting) (Amendment No.42) Order 2016
Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council has made the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53 and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To introduce 'No Waiting at Any Time' restrictions on the following length of Star Lane, Great Wakering in the District of Rochford
as specified: Road Description
Star Lane, EAST SIDE:
Great Wakering i. From its junction with Road 1, north for a distance of approximately 51 metres.
ii. From its junction with Road 1, south for a distance of approximately 115 metres.
iii. From its junction with Footpath 8, south for a distance of approximately 18 metres.
WEST SIDE: From a point approximately 18 metres south of its junction with Footpath 8, north for a distance of approximately 196 metres. Road 1, BOTH SIDES: From its junction with Star Lane,
Great Wakering east for a distance of approximately 15 metres. Footpath 8, BOTH SIDES: From its junction with Star Lane, Great Wakering east for a distance of approximately 10 metres.
2. To introduce 'No Stopping except buses' on the following length of Star Lane, Great Wakering in the District of Rochford as specified:
Road Description
Star Lane, EAST SIDE: From a point approximately 51.5
Great Wakering metres north of its junction with Road 1, north for a distance of approximately 20 metres.
This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Rochford District) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008 by introducing tile numbers TQ930 870, TQ930 872 revision 1.
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 23 December 2016.
Further details: A copy of the Order and plans may be examined during normal office hours at County Hall, Chelmsford CM1 1LX. Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
