(Mill Hill, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mill Hill, in the District of Braintree from its junction with Rose Hill east to its junction with B1018 Millennium Way.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 20th January 2017 20:00 to 22:30 22nd January 2017 for 3 days and 2 nights or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while replacement of permanent traffic pole and street furniture is undertaken.

The alternative route will be via Lakes Road, Manor Street, Trinovantian Way, Railway Street, Rose Hill and vice versa. Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure. The Order will come into effect on 20th January 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Footpath 7 (Hill House Footcrossing) Feering) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: to temporarily close Footpath 7 (Hill House Footcrossing), Feering, in the District of Braintree, for a distance of approximately 20 metres either side of the crossing. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th January 2017 to 30th January 2017 between the hours of 21:00 and 06:00 also 18th February 2017 to 23rd February 2017 between the hours of 21:00 and 06:00, weather permitting, or where appropriate signs are showing. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while essential core renewal works are undertaken. The Order will come into effect on 28th January 2017 and may continue in force for 6 months, or until the works are finished, whichever is the earlier.

(Albert Road, Braintree) (Temporary Suspension & Introduction of Waiting Restriction) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily suspend the existing Resident

Permit Holders Only Mon-Sat 7am-9pm Zone 10 restrictions and

introduce No Waiting at Any Time on the following lengths of Albert

Road, Braintree:

Road Description



Albert Road, WEST SIDE:

Braintree i. From a point 15 metres south of its junction with Coggeshall Road, in a southerly direction for a distance of 23 metres.

ii. From a point approximately 97.3 metres south of its junction with Coggeshall Road in a southerly direction for a distance of approximately 30 metres.



iii. From a point 149.1 metres south of its junction with Coggeshall Road in a southerly direction for a distance of 59 metres.



EAST SIDE:

i. From a point 15 metres north of its junction with Manor Street, in a northerly direction, for a distance of approximately 63 metres.



ii. From a point 58 metres south of its junction with Coggeshall Road, in a southerly direction, for a distance of 24 metres.



There will be an exemption to the temporary No Waiting at Any Time restrictions to allow vehicles involved in footway reconstruction, kerb renewal other associated works to wait at any time on the above length of road.

Tile number TL760 230 & TL760 232 of 'The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008' shall be temporarily varied to suspend the Resident Permit Holders Only Mon-Sat 7am-9pm Zone 10 and include the temporary No Waiting at Any Time restrictions as above. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The temporary restrictions are scheduled to commence on 23 January 2017 to 31 March 2017 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting, and are required for the safety of the public and workforce while footway reconstruction and kerb renewal works are undertaken.

The Order will come into effect on 23 January 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
