(London Road, Billericay) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic)
Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of London Road, in the Parish of Billericay, in the Borough of Basildon, approximately 60 metres east of its junction with A129/London Road, east for a distance of approximately 30 metres.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 7 February 2017 for seven days or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while a new electricity service connection is installed.
The alternative route will be via Mountnessing Road, A129 London Road, and vice versa. Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure.
The Order will come into effect on 7 February 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(A127 Southend Arterial Road on and off slips, Brentwood & Basildon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close the various lengths of A127 Southend Arterial Road on and off slips in
the Borough of Brentwood & Basildon as specified:

Road Description

A127 eastbound From the divergence with the A127 off slip to A128, to its junction with the Halfway West Horndon house Roundabout - a distance of approximately 504 metres.

A127 Southend Arterial Road Eastbound, B148 Eastbound Exit slip, B148 Westbound entry slip and A127 Southend Arterial Road Westbound
B148 Junction Roundabout, A127 Southend Arterial Road Eastbound, A176 Eastbound Exit slip and A176 Westbound entry sip
A127 westbound on slip from B148 West Mayne, Basildon
From its junction with B148 West Mayne Roundabout to the divergence with the A127 westbound carriageway - a distance of approximately 393 metres.
2. A temporary 'No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Stopping restriction will be in force. 'The Borough of Brentwood (On-Street Parking and Waiting Restrictions) Order No 131' and 'The Essex County Council (Basildon District) (Parking and Waiting) Consolidation Order 2008' will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18 month period from 13 February 2017, exact dates will be specified on http://roadworks.org/. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for pedestrians and emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

Preparatory works for carriageway resurfacing. Phase Two
Machine surfacing - the existing surface will be removed and a new surface laid.

(Hazelmere, Basildon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hazelmere, in the Borough of Basildon from the junction with Pitsea Hall Lane for a distance of approximately 170m to its junction with Tesco's entrance road.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 4th February 2017 23:59 to 08:00 for one night or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while an inspection of the Ptisea Flyover is undertaken.
The alternative route will be via Pitsea Mount Road, Broadway Link (B1464), High Road (B1464), Hazelmere and vice versa.
Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure.
The Order will come into effect on 4th February 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Station Approach, Wickford) (Temporary Suspension & Introduction of Waiting Restriction) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily suspend the existing Limited Waiting Mon-Sat 8am-7pm 30 Mins No Return 1 Hour restrictions and introduce No Waiting at Any Time restrictions on the following length of Station Approach, Wickford in the Borough of Basildon: Road Description

Station Approach, SOUTH EAST SIDE: From a point approximately 38.5 metres south west Wickford of the junction with Station Avenue, south east and then south west for

approximately 37 metres.
Tile number TQ745 935 of 'The Essex County Council (Basildon District) (Parking and Waiting) Consolidation Order 2008' shall be temporarily varied to suspend the Limited Waiting Mon-Sat 8am-7pm 30 Mins No Return 1 Hour and include the temporary No Waiting at Any Time restrictions as detailed above. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The temporary restrictions are scheduled to commence on 6 February 2017 to 21 April 2017 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting, and are required for the safety of the public and workforce while works to upgrade the station access are undertaken which includes carriageway widening, installation of motorcycle shelter and additional bus stops. The Order will come into effect on 6 February 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
