Section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 Definitive Map and Statement for the County of Essex The Essex County Council Definitive Map Modification No. 629 (Bridleway 95 Benfleet, Castle Point Borough) Order 2016

Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council on 1st March 2017 confirmed the above mentioned Order and it took effect on that day.

The effect of the Order is to modify the Definitive Map for the County of Essex by:-

1. Adding a bridleway from Downer Road North running eastwards along the southern side

of the unmade section of Chesterfield Avenue to meet bridleway 51 Benfleet. A copy of the Order and Order map may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at Castle Point Borough Council, Kiln Road, Thundersley, Benfleet, Essex, SS7 1TF and at the Chelmsford Library, Market Road, Chelmsford, where copies will be available on request at a charge.

If any person is aggrieved by this Order and desires to question its validity on the ground that it is not within the powers of section 53 or that any of the requirements of Schedule 15 have not been complied with in relation to it, he may within 42 days from the date of publication of this Notice make an application to the High Court under paragraph 12(1) of Schedule 15 to the Act.

(Arterial Road, Rayleigh (Westbound) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Arterial Road, Rayleigh (Westbound) in the Rochford District, from its junction with Progress Road to its junction with A129 Rayleigh Weir Interchange, a distance of 1974 m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd April 2017 for 4 nights, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (EP201EH2224818 - Essex County Council) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while speed camera upgrade works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Progress Road, A1015 Eastwood Road and A129 High Road Rayleigh.

The Order will come into effect on 3rd April 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Park Road, Thundersley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Park Road, Thundersley in the Castle Point District, from a point 135m Southeast of its junction with Raymonds Drive for a distance of approximately 35m in a southeasterly direction . The closure is scheduled to commence on 23rd May 2017 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (EC30034765680 - UK Power Networks) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while electrical cable lay works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

An alternative route is available via Raymonds Drive, Hart Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 23rd May 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months

or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Anchor Lane, Canewdon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Anchor Lane, Canewdon in the Rochford District, from a point approximately 240m west from its junction with Scotts Hall Road, for a distance of approximately 20m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd April 2017 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (AZ0071000578436 - National Grid Gas Distribution) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas connection works are undertaken by National Grid Gas Distribution.

An alternative route is available via Scotts Hall Road, Apton Hall Road, Gore Road, Creeksea Ferry Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 3rd April 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Cranes Farm Road, Basildon) (Temporary 30 mph Speed Limit) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a 30 mph speed limit on the following length of Cranes Farm Road, Basildon in the Basildon District (B), from its junction with Upper Mayne to its junction with Gardiners Lane South for a distance approximately 2900 m. (The road is currently 40MPH)

The closure is scheduled to commence on 10th April 2017 for 183 days, or where stated on a valid permit. (AZ0071000538907 - National Grid Gas Distribution) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The scheduled dates may vary for these works.

The temporary speed limit is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas main replacement works are undertaken by National Grid Gas Distribution. The existing 40MPH speed limit on Cranes Farm Road, as detailed in the district of Basildon (Basildon, Billericay and Wickford) (Speed Limit And Restricted Roads Consolidation) Order 2000 will be temporarily suspended for the duration of the works. All other restrictions contained in the order shall continue in force.

The Order will come into effect on 10th April 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. Dated: 27/03/2017
