(Footpath 31, Benfleet) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Footpath 31, Benfleet in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with Footpath 12, generally east for a distance of approximately 4612 metres to its junction with Footpath 87, Southend at the border of the District of Southend.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 7 August 2017 to 18 September 2017 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while ground investigation works are undertaken by the Environment Agency The alternative route will be via Footpath 87, Southend on Sea, unnamed road to Belton Way East, unnamed road to join Footpath 88, Footpath, 98, Benfleet, Footpath61, Benfleet, Bridleway 60, Benfleet, Footpath 1, Benfleet and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 7 August 2017 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Luncies Road, Barstable, Basildon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation

Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Luncies Road, Barstable in the District of Basildon from its junction with B1419 Timberlog Lane to its end, a distance of approximately 660m.



2. A temporary 'No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Stopping restriction will be in force.



"The Essex County Council (Various Roads, Basildon District) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2008" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 01/08/2017 exact dates will be specified on http://roadworks. org/. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter / leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

3. A temporary 'No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Stopping restriction will be in force.



"The Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (County of Essex) (District of Rochford) Consolidation Order 2006" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th August 2017 for 2 Saturdays only, (12/08/2017 & 19/08/2017) or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034770730 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new electrical service connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks. An alternative route is available via Hockley Road, Hambro Hill, Down Hall Road, London Road, London Hill and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 27th July 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Malvern Avenue, Canvey Island) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation

Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Malvern Avenue, Canvey Island in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with Haven Road, to its junction with Tudor Road for a distance of approximately 35m in a northwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 18th September 2017 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034772763 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new electrical connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

An alternative route is available via Haven Road, Laburnum Grove, Tudor Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 27th July 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
