l.Southend-on-Sea Borough Council Hereby Gives Notice That to allow for the Southend Fireworks 2017 Event on the following Saturday's 7th, 14th, 21st & 28th October and 4th,11th & 18th November 2017 and because of the likelihood of the danger to the public it made an Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation (Specia Events) Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic Regulation (Special Events) Act 1991, the effect of which will temporarily prohibit entry into the roads as detailed in the schedule below

2. Nothing in the Order will apply to

(a) Any vehicle being used for Ambulance purposes, Coastguard/RNLI, Fire Brigade or Police services.

(b) anything done by a Statutory Undertaker vehicle in connection with an emergency repair.
