Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53 and Part III & IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To replace the existing 'No Waiting Mon-Sat, 8am-6pm' with

'No Stopping except buses 7am-7pm' restrictions on the following length of The Broadway, Wickford in the Borough of Basildon: Road Description

The SOUTH EAST SIDE: From a point approximately

Broadway, 3.4 metres north east of the common boundary of Wickford property No.'s 28-30 & 34 The Broadway, north east for a distance of 19 metres.
2. To relocate the existing 'No Waiting Mon-Sat, 8am-6pm' Restrictions to the following length of The Broadway, Wickford in the Borough of Basildon:

The SOUTH EAST SIDE: From a point approximately

Broadway, 3.4 metres north east of the common boundary of Wickford property No.'s 28-30 & 34 The Broadway, south west for a distance of 13.7 metres.
This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Basildon District) (Parking and Waiting) Consolidation Order 2008 by substituting tile number TQ745 935 revision 8 to revision 9. Further details: A copy of the proposed Order, plans showing the proposal, a Statement of Reasons, a copy of this notice and a copy of the Order to be varied may be inspected during normal office hours at Network Assurance, A2 Annexe Seax House, Victoria Road South, Chelmsford; Basildon Borough Council, The Basildon Centre, St Martin's Square, Basildon and Wickford Library, Market Road, Wickford. (Pound Lane, North Benfleet) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Pound Lane, North Benfleet in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Harrow Road to its junction with Burnt Mills Road, a distance of approximately 267m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 20th November 2017 for 6 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2231047 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Pound Lane, Southend Arterial Road, Southend Arterial Road Slip Road From A127 To A132 Westbound, Nevendon Road Roundabout, East Mayne, Cricketers Way, East Mayne Roundabout Junction Cranes Farm Road, Burnt Mills Road, Courtauld Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 17th November 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
